2008 Lexus IS F

If the Lexus IS series was designed to compete against the BMW 3 series, the 2008 Lexus IS-F has aggressively evened out the competition.

Unlike the other members of the IS series, this model is designed to deliver pure power – owing to its V8 engine capable of touching an incredible 416hp.

The vehicle's acceleration brings the car to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. An optional version is to have a lowered suspension model for better performance.

The engine is what attracts maximum attention about the 2008 Lexus IS-F. The 5 liter capacity V8 at 5200 rpm is capable of generating a 371 lb-ft torque. According to the concept, the top speed should be over 185mph. However, the version released in the U.S. has a limit of 165mph imposed on that parameter.
